Description:

The purpose of the 2005 Homeland Security National Training Program (HSNTP), is to support the accomplishment of the National Preparedness Goal by providing tailored, specialized training to enhance the capacity of emergency responders to prevent, protect, respond to or recover from incidents of national significance, including terrorist incidents involving chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive (CBRNE) weapons of mass destruction (WMD).

The Office for Domestic Preparedness (ODP) was transferred to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) when the agency was established. ODP?s grant management system and related computer applications for this (and other) ODP announcement(s), is currently maintained by the Office of Justice Programs (Department of Justice) on behalf of DHS. Once you arrive at ODP?s web site (link listed below ? in "link to full announcement") scroll to the end of that web page to view the program guidance documents/application kit (disregard the "apply electronically" option at the bottom of this posting).
